Snapping turtles generally reside in the water and using our traps makes it easy to catch them -- in fact, our traps can catch several turtles at one time! Simply bait the trap and leave it overnight. Check the trap in the morning for your day's supply of food. Many items can be used for bait, including any part of fish you don't normally eat (fish heads, guts), and liver of all types. Remember to use caution, because turtles are alive when they are in the trap and they can easily remove a finger if you aren't careful!
